DESIGN ASSIST & DETAILING SUPPORT

Our team enjoys up-front collaboration with design teams to work through aesthetic, performance, and structural considerations for a seamless integration into drawing sets. We support all phases as early as concept / schematic design up through construction documents. Examples of services include feasibility integration into project scope, preliminary mullion / glass fin sizing, face glass makeup recommendations, and general detailing support.

Innovation Glass can also support construction projects through formal design-assist agreements, and are brought in with the awarded glazing contractor. Throughout the DA phase, we engage with the full project team including the architect, SEOR, consultant, and installation team. This process is highly effective as we are able to incorporate generic VS1 details and evolve them into near-finalized construction drawings prior to a full scope issuance. Our team consists of highly experienced designers, engineers, and solution-driven thinkers who are familiar with collaborative engineering and design processes.
