31' VS1-A220 direct-glaze lobby facade
This Ennead-designed healthcare building in downtown Philadelphia features a 31’ VS1-A220 lobby curtain wall. VS1-A220 replaces the typical offset between the VS1 mullion and the face glass with a continuous vertical aluminum cassette. Toggle clips connect to the IGU within the cassette channel, allowing for standard IGUs to be used. The VS1-A220 methodology is known industry-wide for simplicity of installation. It is also cost-effective and creates a clean curtain wall aesthetic with a pure expression of the glass and frameless joints at the interior.

FROM THE ARCHITECT ENNEAD
❝ The building is designed to reinforce the vision for the East Market development—a dynamic urban environment for young professionals and innovators who place value on experience and convenience. Together the civic plazas and the open and welcoming lobby and amenity spaces on the ground level activate the urban streetscape and contribute to the development of the East Market neighborhood.
