19' glass lobby · VS1 wall with 12' and 7' glass panels

VS1 was selected for the lobby facade of the Kirksey-designed Visitors Center of the new Global Dow Center in Michigan. The 19’ span is composed of 12’ and 7’ stacked panels of glass. All-glass vestibules are a standard addition to VS1 lobby facades. These all-glass vestibules minimize metal and enable the purity of the glass box aesthetic by letting the side walls act as structural support for the roof.

VS1 was selected for the entry facade of Energy Center 5 in Houston, Texas, which was also designed by Kirksey architecture.
