VS1 was selected for several facade scopes on this new Perkins Eastman-designed residential building in New Jersey.

Beginning with the lobby, a 20’ span was achieved with a 10 13/16” based-loaded rectangular VS1 mullion. At the lobby, the interior vestibule walls are supported by standard 5” VS1 mullions.

Floors 3 through 7 feature single span VS1 walls which were also achieved with our standard 5” mullion. This scope features two all-glass corners: a 90 degree angle and an obtuse angle, both of which are readily accomplished with VS1.

On the 5th floor, the building’s pool deck is wrapped in VS1 facade that spans 18” and utilizes the standard 8” rectangular VS1 mullion. A steel and aluminum canopy is integrated with, and supported by, the VS1 mullions.

Finally, an amenities space on the 19th floor is also enclosed by a VS1 facade spanning 18’ and supported by our standard 8” mullion. Louvres are integrated directly into the exterior of the facade.
